...and they will call him Immanuel - which means "God with us"...

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light;

on those living in the land of the shadow of death

a light has dawned........

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given

and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called 

Wonderful Counselor

Mighty God

Everlasting Father

The Prince of Peace

The hope of the nations

He has raised up a mighty savior for us in the house of his servant David,

as he spoke through the mouth of his holy prophet from of old,

that we would be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us

That we, being rescued from the hands of our enemies,

might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him all our days
